There's a new image out of The Joker. I think it looks better than the one on the Empire magazine cover.

wehey!

lookin pretty badass

It looks like they're going for the gritty scruffy Joker in this film, which is fine by me, but I always liked the sharply dressed Joker, it always gave him the impression that he's proffesionally insane, a muderous mad clown while appearing cool and swish, it goes really wlll with the style and confidence in his moves, like a ringleader of some sort. Which was creepy in it's own way, and original.

While this Joker has more punk and a demented appearance, which I still find cool. Yeah.

I'm glad he wears a suit, but damn they should of gave him a big pointy nose! And a chin.

I really like that outfit. I think im going to start dressing that way.

from what i hear in the begging he looks a lot more clean cut then in the end. he dresses up and puts on his make up and doesnt change or reapply makeup. thats why in some shots he all dressed up, and in others he looks more worn and gritty. i love the look of him. exactly how ive always seen the joker.

still abit sceptical, the "scar" looks too much like makeup yet, instead of a "real" cut.
waiting for the performance...
(i guess the film on the whole will be rather good though,if it's anything like the first)

I with Carnifex, I gotta see the whole package. Something about seeing it like this was un-thrilling. I wish they just gave him a prosthetic nose, for crying out loud!!! I'm still pumped as a fan, but doubtful as well.

Here's some pictures of the bank heist mentioned in that Imax clip I took a few months ago. Nothing spectacular, sorry. My camera sucks and I had to get back to work.
They were filming the scene right outside my office. It took them about an hour to set up and they only filmed for about five minutes.

I saw the trailer during I Am Legend last night. I am completely sold on the Joker. He looked downright menacing.

A direct feed should be out by midnight, if it is I'll post it up. The prologue has also been leaked, but the quality isn't that great. Bootlegs rarely are.

saw the trailer at I am Legend, He should be a darn good joker. Movie looks amazing. But everytime I see Christian Bale in a suit, i can't help but think Patrick Bateman!

The dark, anarchic, Manson-esque Joker is definitely an interesting direction. I was was suprised to read that the role was inspired by Malcolm McDowell's performance as Alex in 'A Clockwork Orange.' Alex is of course one of the most disturbing and fucked up villains in film and literary history.

I'm kinda disappointed that he didn't resemble much Conrad Veidt in The Man Who Laughs, but Nolan's incarnation of The Joker works in context with his version...

Actually Nalon's portray of the Joker isn't that different from Conrad Veidt, if not quite similar, look at some stills from the trailer and The Man Who Laughs and compare, not too different I would say. Theres still that grittyness they have, but of course this Joker is more messed up.

Probably more similar to Veidt, than Nicolson.
