What happen whit the old posts?

I can´t find the old posts :S ??
Even if I search for them, they don´t appear anyware

Hmm, I can't get the search to work with "car stuff" either, but I can find it by searching Scott Robertson in "Find Threads Started By User."

I was actually about to make a new post about this same topic.
Whenever I do any type of search it will only go back 30 days and if what I am searching for has not been posted or discussed within 30 days it says it cannot find it. I even looked for simple things, such as 'drawing' in the title to see how far back it would bring up threads. Only 30 days. What happened to everything???

Try using advanced search. You can set more parameters in there.

I tried searching a couple of things with different date parameters in advanced search. Most results were only from Oct., though I did get a couple that went back to Jan. 2007.

Sometimes I have better success finding what I need when I search by user name, rather than topic (assuming you can remember the user name!).

There does seem to be something funny going on, but I'm not sure what it is.

Yeah...I tried changing everything I could. Did advanced searches from the beginning...even went into profile to see if it was something on my settings. I changed it to where I could see ALL posts, or posts since beginning...and still nothing past the last 30 days or so. Maybe if I looked for something extremely common I could get something from earlier this year...but 3 months ago I could do a search on a school like "Ringling" and search in advance for the word only to be located in the title of the post and I would get posts going back to 2003 or earlier. All kinds of stuff.
Maybe spring cleaning??
So how do I use that search engine? Is it just a link? o.O
