Now that post is worth a Thanks!:teeth: Thank you so much for posting all those, Iatriki. I especially appreciate the Ellenberger animal anatomy link. I'm currently mentoring in animal anatomy and creature design, so that'll be a great resource for my mentees.

Thank you SO much!

For CG tutorials I also know http://www.3dbuzz.com you have to subscribe though, but that's free. There are some cool tutorial movies on there.
Ofcourse there is www.characterdesigns.com for references, www.posemaniacs.com/blog for anatomy and poses
Also at www.cloudstars.com you can download some cool apps with a 3d rotatable female or male (or hand or face) and some poses. The free versions come with a annoying pop up window every minute or so though, but they're nice poses.

Well, this is a great list.
If it keeps updating it would make a GREAT sticky..
.. Correction, it would make a great sticky whether updated or not :)

Love
Marleen

Leysan, these videos are amazing. Thanks for sharing! And thank you iatriki for the many links!

Being a huge open-source freak, I'd like to share a couple links. I recommend Gimp and Krita for those just starting with digital art and/or anyone who's intrigued by anything open-source. Many may have heard of Gimp, but Krita is particularly nice as it supports color management, many color-spaces to work with and convert from/to (including cmyk, lab, ycbcr, grayscale, and of course rgb).

Bit depths of 8, 16, and 32-bit per channel are also there (only a couple colorspaces support 32-bit though), ruby & python scripting, adjustment layers, group layers, and, I think in the next release, actual painting complete with color mixing and natural media tools.

Yea..... I'm kinda' a nut with this stuff lol. Check it out
Gimp (http://gimp.org/)
Krita (http://www.koffice.org/krita/)

Oh, and Krita is linux-only at the moment, but a Windows version is in the works. Gimp, on the other hand, is available for many OSes
