not bad...

Are you considering any art colleges... By the time you get out you should have some great stuff.

Good job!

There's an excellent consistency to the piece.. I think you'll benefit from continued anatomical study... The head's sorta weird, very long in shape and the ear is confused. But, your understanding of the hand is pretty solid so learning heads and faces is well within your reach.

The ab/hip area seems a little lacking in detail... Same with the mech-arm.

The foremost arm rendering gives a real interesting shape... same with the neck... these areas really 'pop'.
Speaking of which...

Those boots are very nicely done - the perspective's good, and you can't help but feel those shin guards (so smooth - aaah)! They're the sweet-spot of the picture for me.

Great background.

I'd love to see a bit of string tied around that finger... something that gives his gesture meaning, as well as humour.

Proceed with confidence is my advice.
You're definitely on the right track, dude.

Armor is lookin hot, I agree that anatomy and life drawing will benefit you a lot, when you paint skin avoid sharp highlights, and remember your painting the skin on top of the muscles this looks a little like skin colored muscles cauyse the creasing is to sharp and smooth. Also the arms are a bit short. Good stuff, keep workin,

The stomach armor that is a muscular trace of the abdominal muscles is very, very long. I think it really detracts from the proportions, though stylisticly it is a cool idea. Because of the way that is drawn, it makes the arms seem way too short.

However, that is my only real crit. Your coloring is quite impressive.
