i consider this a finished piece, even if it's hold very sketch-like.the first idea was him being on top of some stairs with a group of people screaming at the other end.during the process it turned out he would better fit into this enviroment though.looking at it now his feet bother me a bit, but i won't change that anymore.

It's a decent sketch. I really think you should have put it in the sketches section. I feel that it really isn't a finished piece. I'm not trying to be mean, but you probably would have gotten much better replies there. A lot of the art that gets posted in this section takes days to finish, literally. So when an artist does finish they think, "It's finally FINISHED! I can show the world!" A few hours is just not enough time to justify a finished piece. And I must say again I am not trying to be mean. You'll notice, however, I'm the only one who replied to this post.
First off I know that this is a monster and that perhaps he has different anatomy than a human, but I think that since he has a basically humanoid body you should have tried to follow human anatomy a bit closer... One thing that bothers me about this sketch is his right our left arm. The deltoid isn't correct. It sits on top of the shoulder and it does not connect to the bicept like that. The deltoid on the other arm is closer to correct. As you go down his arm there are other problems. I'm not even going to go into them because there are so many. What I really just need to tell you is to go get an anatomy book. If you have one, use it. Use reference even for monsters. If not human, animal. It will make your concepts much more believeable. You do have the basic shape of the arm well done, but the muscle structure isn't. Anyway, it's a decnt sketch. Keep practicing :).

wow...thanx for the input...even if there aren't many posts, atleast this one HELPS really!thank you very much.
i'll post it in the sketch section too, maybe i'll get some more input there.it doesn't bother me much that you sound a bit "mean" if you want so,on contrary,it just that sort of criticism i need to get on further.maybe you'd give me some more detail on what you see as faults on his arm.ok, i think i can notice some strange "leading-into" of the muscles, but what is there more?thanks again.
p.s.:can any of the moderators please move this thread to the sketch section?i don't want two threads for the same pic.
