Hi there I’m a bit new to all of this, but I thought ill put some of my work on to see how it goes… these are some sketches and concepts I am working on for a book called Solace that is out next year. The book is about…

Purgatory?
All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. (Catechism of the Catholic Church - #1030)

The city of a million towers is the ‘next’ place. Each tower in the city represents a lost soul searching for their salivation and redemption.
Our central protagonist has no name he is only known as 299876. 299876 wakes up alone, cold and in pain, not knowing where he is, when he is. He finds him self in a large city, built up of millions of large stone towers, each tower representing a lost soul. Searching, wondering looking for the meaning of all the suffering he has endured in his life, Leading them into the mythological world we must all one day confront, the realms of “The Next.” Leading him through a magical and troubled word of the inner psyche of an unsettled and lonely man. Encountering mortals, devils and mystical creatures beyond belief.
