this is about a 30-45 min sketch of my grapevine while sitting on my back porch.

I like where your going with it so far. Dont be afraid of those darker tones. In fact you need them greatly. With a grey background, it allows you to go much darker and still have things look nice. Continue what you've started so far.

yeah that has been a great problem of mine... i have been working on it in my drawings and notice they are looking much better.
i will def go back to this one sometime and work on that.
