View Full Version : Paint for outdoor mural?

A school I work for is going to be doing a wall mural as an elective. Being the most arty in the school, I've been asked, but I've never done such a thing. My guess was a house paint, but that's as far as my (bad) answer went (absolutely clueless, in otherwords) so I said I'd ask some experts. @:-)

I'm in Mount Isa Australia, so include harsh elements (harsh sun/heat) in your thoughts.

Well...enamel paint would do. Go to a hardware store and look for paint labeled for outdoor use. They sell them in small cans. You probably will have to mix them to get all the colors you want, though.

I've had a friend use acrylics in the past down here in Texas....it gets a bit hot in the summer. :D
