Starcraft 2 designs.

My own take on Starcraft. I cant imagine that they would go with such an anime (non stocky character) stye... but you guys inspire me to try just to see what it would look like if I designed some characters for the sequel. lol.
Again... this is NOT for the real sequel to starcraft. Just my own take.

Very good rendering and conception. The fusion between the Terran and Protoss is a nice touch. But would never work because the Plasma shield and Psi-Blade need Psi Energy...which only the Protoss have.

Never the less, it looks good.

Id like to think that if i draw the things that I love to draw, eventually ill get good enough at it to do that for a living. Im still crossing my fingers on a few portfolios that Ive got out there, and I hope i can land a gig that affords me the opportunity to do stuff like the above work. As it is... there are almost WAY too many talented artists out there (probably all of them on conceptart.org. lol.)


I miss the thunderdome thrills ya know. Where everyone kinda set out with a similar theme on a regular basis.

Im thinking of redesigning metal gear, or doing a few tron 3 characters next. but im undecided. any suggestions?

The terran scout vaguely reminded me of Metal Gear Solid, so I'd love to see you redesign Snake or anything from the MG world..

That Terran Protoss hybird is HOT. but that face in the corner with the red side lighting is off the chain. I wanna see that face on a full concept. All in all pretty slick stuff. Dig the painterly texturing on the comic style coloring

you forgot the protoss/zerg hybrid race ^ ^. Im a BIG fan of starcraft. I like the terran scout idea you have there. At first i was sure about the protoss tech on him but i spose since zerg is the bigger enemy i dont see why the protoss and terran wouldnt have research treaties and stuff. Anyways.. Nice job! Thumbs up pal!

speaking of mixing the species, there is a secret mission in brood wars that hints that the sequel may have a zerg/protoss mix. it would be cool to seee how you would design that.

awesome designs, man. The only thing that bothers me is the color of the scout's face. It doesn't have any reflection of the lighter blue from his suit and it makes it look out of place IMHO. Other than that awesom, love the shaman.

I'm assuming the terran is largely bionic, or GE or a mix or something, since theres no way in hell a regular human could fit in that suit!
