Hi, i'm Kevin and a total noob at drawing.
I love photoshop and have always been manipulating photos and stuff
but I wanted to take it to the next level .. digital painting.

My main problem is I don't know how to draw shadows & highlights
and everything else related to drawing.
So I hope te evolve by experimenting in photoshop.
My skill levels are way below all of you guys, but hopefully with some help
and a lot of practice I will get better.
My goal is to be able to create average sketches so I'm able to participate
in the DSG.

Here are my first 3 attempts

1) I used a reference for the self-portrait and ship, the rest is from scratch
2) Brain steering a dragon
3) Some sort of alien worm

My girlfriend made a drawing and I painted it without any help from tutorials and examples. Because I wanted to see how much I remembered from trying with painting bodies from references with colorpicking etc.
And it turned out pretty well. I didn't go into detail because this is still to advanced for me and it would ruin what I already have.

Tips are very welcome
