hey nice piece.....just a suggestion....you might wanna try making the eyes and lips smaller(just a tad)...seems like you made them a bit larger in your work......that might push her likeness a bit more.

I disagree, I dont think its that the facial features that are big, but that her jaw is a bit too high up. That would also explain the slightly smaller chin in the painted version.

How do I know. Well if you look at the photo, she has a nice symmetry going in the places between (where her nose meets her forehead) and (her hairline), and (the bottom of her nose) and (her chin). In the painting, her chin is closer to the bottom of her nose than her hairline is to the top of her nose. Therfore throwing off that crutial symmetry that makes ppl more beautiful.


But thats just nitpicking. I like it a lot. :D

I guess I wasn't zeroing in on likeness. I liked the pose and figured on making my own background. Thanks for the comments though.:)
