I know that we at concept art are used to art being of the directly visual king, but I was reading the thread on the now put off Nivbed thunderdome contest. I think that a lot of artists find music inspiring, and like Niv, I put together a song every now a then.

Here is something (http://www.threethehardway.com/Music/breath.mp3) I put together a little while ago that I hope you guys will like.

You're welcome to crit it, as you would any other piece put up but I just thought I'd share.

If the moderators want to get rid of the thread however, I understand entirely.

pretty cool!...that breathing in the near mid freaks me!
Tried to make it electric guitar sounding stuff for the beat? i think it would sound cool...

I like it -- seems like something you might hear attached to a video game. I found myself wishing for some more dynamic string work to appear, though. I mean in addition to, but different from, the strings that you already have there.

It'd also be nice to have that string work lead into a final cresciendo (sp?), but that might be getting more involved than what you'd intended.

I have bird's-eye visions of the UNREAL castle spinning around in my head now.:D

Remember me a lot the work of original soundtrack... really neat. Still need some work(the rhytmic can really be better, a bit basic compare to the rest). Hell yeah, great ambient music, I feel I'm gonna paint with it in the background :)

Totally self-promoting, but hey, just lettin' the Juicer know he's not alone, what being an illustrator-musician and all. :chug:

BTW, Juice5942, nice tunage. I also think the breathing is the centerpiece of yer song...I also keep waiting for the piece to break open into a more syncopated rhythm.

I know ya didn't ask for a crit, though, so I'm just really glad you shared!!!!
