Presentation Dilemma

I came accross some really cool website templates for artists and photographers to showcase their works online. My style of painting is abstract and I think one of these templates will be great for me. The challenge is I can't quite decide on which one to go with.

Please take a look at these two I have in mind and give me your thoughts:

It's quite difficult to say since the option one isn't loading correctly ( just loads the top navigation bar ). I like them both but the first one seems more minimalist and would probably work better. Both are nice though.

I like the second one best, but that's just me. It's all about personal preference, so like Seedling said. Just flip a coin. :D
