practicing painting in photoshop.. spent about 4 hours on it.. I know it's not done, but I want to move on to something else.. looked at a photo of him while painting..

I actually like the sketch, but had you not said it was supposed to be Clint, I never would have guessed.

That said, I think the image is cool, I wish you had flushed out the hat some to give some sort of texture.

I agree you need to work on the likeness a bit more, other than that some good stuff going on as well

Take a day and study necks, because it looks like you just drew a few lines and guessed what a neck would look like. I think you need to take some time and figure out the whys and whats of the neck.

Also why is the hat so blurred and uncomplete while the face is a much different style?

It is a good start but you need to practice alittle more. I suggest worrying more about doing line drawings and studies of heads before trying to render them.
