Which Wacom tablet to buy ?

I would like to buy a wacom tablet, but I hesitate for the size, I'm new to the graphic tablets and so have no Idea what's the difference between them (except the size of course) and which one to choose.
Any help will be appreciate.

I find the answer myself on some sites, all people seams to think that the 6x8 tablet is a good size, no need to buy a bigger one.

It really depends on how much money you are willing to spend, buy the largest size you can afford. I have a 9x12 and it cicks ass. I asked the same question here back when i bought mine and everyone said to get the biggest posible. Make sure you get the Intuos2. Size DOES make a difference - ive had smaller in the past. Girls say the same thing hehehe:p

nardfrog - thanks for the reply. I had choose to buy a 6x8, but you make me hesitate again. I still have a month before I buy, so I will check the space left in front of my monitor and other stuffs like, can I live all the month without these precious 140$ that it will cost for an upgrade from 6x8 to 9x12 ... :D
