I recently moved and previously my wacom worked marvelous. Since I've set everything back up in my new place and had some idea stirring in my head I decided to do some painting. When I plugged it in is where it started to freak out. When my stylus is within an inch of the pad it starts to connect and react. it will not click unless I touch the pad and then raise it atleast an inch off the pad to stop its connection.
This is making art difficult since i cant stop a line until my pens far away.
Has anyone had this problem or has a suggestion to fix it?
thanks,

uninstall and reinstall the driver. Can download the newest from the website.

I had this a while back, it sounds like the nib needs cleaning. Get some tweezers and gently pull out the nib from the pen and give it a good clean before replacing it. That should do it...
Hope that helps mate :)

there could also be radio interference in the area. i know that it can cause your cursor to jiggle around. though, it is more likely for that to happen on a graphire than on an intuos.

It should be noted that on intuos pens you need to unscrew a part of the tip before you try any pulling. ;)
