what wacom tablets do the pro's use. I'm looking to up grade. What should I watch out for when I got to make my purchase as well.

Really? Any size? What advantages does one have over the other?

no advantages. that's the reason why i mention that any size will do.
i work with an a5 and an a6. two very close sizes. the only thing is that you've got to get used to a size, and stick to it. i wouldn't like a huge tablet right now, but if i got used to it, i wouldn't mind. it's just a question of spending time on it.

I have one of the large ones at home and at work I use a 6X9... I prefer the 6 better. I even remapped my home one to a 6X9 area. IT made all the difference in the world. The large one was to cumbersome for me.

Save alot of money and space and get the 6x9.

I'm up there with CRACKER, I have used the larger one and hate the darn thing.

yeah I got a biggun (Intuos2) at home and a 6x9 at work and If I'da known then what I know now I would have bought the 6x9.
my 6 fits on my desktop at work and it is right next to the keyboard so it's handier that way.
But the big tablet in my lap sort of prevents me from getting too close to the monitor, mouth breathing and drooling. So at work I do alot of drooling/mouth breathing with my face 2 inches from the screen becoming one with the pixel.

I sold my 9x12 and bought a 6x8 for the exact amount that I sold my larger one for...it was worth the even trade.

search for 'em on www.pricegrabber.com I got mine there really cheap.. aroun 370 bucks or something

so most people would prefer a 6x9 to a 9x12? I was thinking of getting a 9x12, but maybe ill rethink it..
