Project name: Panacea (working title)
Brief description:
Panacea is a short game demo and an experiment into horror games and how to scare the player. We plan on the playtime to be roughly 30 minutes in a hotel of 6 floors.
We are an organized, professional and dedicated team of people working in the games industry or enrolled in game development schools doing this in our spare time.
Although we do it in our spare time our very flexible engine allows for rapid development and constant progress.
Target aim:
Freeware.
Compensation:
None, except practicing leading a team of artists, hands on experience of developing and maintaing an artistic vision and a completed demo to put on your resumé.
Technology:
Own developed engine, gameplay scripting using lua
Talent needed:
1 Art Director
Responsibilities:
*Develop the Art styleguide
*Develop and maintain the artistic vision throughout the game
*Manage a group of artists
*Quality assure art assets
*Produce concept art and storyboards
*Communicating with the rest of the team and be the connecting link between other departments
*... And other things
Our requirements:
*Experience from working in a team environment
*Excellent drawing skills
*Ability to communicate using both words and imagery
*Residing in Europe
*Grasp of 3D modeling techniques
*We use Skype for communicating, you should too :)
*Atleast a few hours (5+) every week to dedicate to the project
