two quick colour studies

two quick ps colour studies.
I'm new to doing colour studies in ps, it has a nice side like you can really get it going, but it's kind of funny to pick up colours on the colour picker...

I terribly apologize for the first subject, lol, turned my head and started right away..

I kind of feel I'm being too 'mechanical'... please drop me a line with suggestions, and any comments.

How do I, say, write text + add image +write more text + another image below.. with CA attachmentes?

well if you didn't trace these and didn't use the colour picker for you to get the colours right then i think this is really spot on. i like the yellow paint blob and the pencil a lot. if you did trace/colour pick no worries but i think you'll learn a lot lot more if you now do it without.

yellow paint blob? you mean the plectrum?

of course I did not trace or "colour pick"! this stuff was by my side, we are speaking about standard colour studies in wich you have stuff in front of you and paint it, but do it in Photoshop.
I mean it's sometimes hard to pick a colour because it looks so bright in the picker and then inside the composition looks completely different....
