i was just wondering if someone can share their techniques for drawing hair. i tend to be kind of nervous about drawing the hair on my drawings cause i dont think it ever comes out how it should. im trying to work on getting some really finished portraits and what not together.
thx for any help

Hi there. :)
Hair is little different from drawing anything else. I will recommend to you that you study the masses and draw those in first - your large areas of dark and light, then pull out some detail in the mid-tones and highlight areas, and a few wispy hairs around the hairline and outside to create a sense of motion.
Hope that helps! :)

Though relevant, I think OP is asking about drawing hair on paper.
