I need to find out about other c.a. schools

I absolutely LOOOVE Ringling for c.a,. but what other schools are out there for computer animations I really NEED 2 KNO because I am applying for college now.... thnx :teeth:

CalArts and Academy of Arts are the big two. I suggest you look at the education threads on cgtalk.com.

CalArts is actually not very good with Computer animation; their traditional animation is stellar, however.

Ringling is definitely a school you should take into heavy consideration. I go there, and I can honestly say that I already feel like I'm gaining an edge in the industry. You also might look into Academy of Art in San Francisco, like Melancov said. There's also SCAD, Pratt, SVA, and Sheridan (which is in Canada, so you might have a more difficult time working out the logistics). Make sure that you do some heavy research on all schools to which you are applying--visit each if you can. A college visit can be the final deciding factor for what is right for you.
