It's national Portfolio day season! For those of you who don't know, NPD is an event where representives from most of the major art schools come to a different city and will review your work. They also have info available about their schools and programs. It's a great way to compare schools and find out what they want in a portfolio.
Check out the NPD site. It has dates, locations and a list of paticipating schools.

Yeah. I've been hearing very positive things about this event... Personally, I have only been looking at a few art schools in California. I've never considered any school on the eastcoast.

wow, i remember this, i was lugging around my artwork to these college tables, hoping to get lucky. in new york it was at FIT. i was so excited. i went with my friends, thinking back on it now, those were really great exciting times!

i don't think they were all that serious. but it was nice seeing so many other young artists.
