Again here is my second post, "The Road to Bath", it's based on imagination and impression during my jouney from London to Bath city, an unforgetable place, love the English country side and landscape.
The bridge and the church don't actualy exsit in this location, rather idealized composition appears more often in my earlier drawing. For the last 3 years I did more drawings based on real places. the head of the train was slightly off, i scratched it later after finished...and yet it's not in this scan...so the one I am showing now still has the mistake. it's all fixed now.
It's harder than I expected to draw the sunset with black ink and pen, dots are used everywhere, and also the lamp as the second light source made it trickier.
Still not sure if this is the right place to post such work, anyway.....

Another great ink drawing! Did you only use pure black or did you also mix some water with it to get some grey colors here and there?
Anyway another superb ink drawing, you got yourself another fan.

Thanks a lot:) Only black ink used, no water or any other stuff involved, one normal parker fountain pen( now I use Pelican fountain pen ), one small nib for smaller strokes.

that is amazing overall, but You might want to look at the perspective on the front of the train

It's very refreshing to see such a classic style done is so high quality like thios here on CA. This looks painstakingly labourous to make.
Great post.

I love the dedication. Its great to see this work on CA. BTW good decision on removing the strange demon head carving thing from the foreground guard rail in the draft. It would have been distracting in the final image. Great stuff !keep posting

you gots the cool stuffs, and i appreciate this style of yours alot. apart from the head of the train, the balcony thingy is just a little bit of, but the main thing that strikes me is how small the church appear to be. when compared to the train and when compared to the lamp-post (seemingly not that far from the bridge and the bridge not getting that much smaller, perspectivewize, going towards the tunnel. ) it looks small. But it does not bother me at all, because this looks great.:) good job mister!
