It's only been in this past week that I've realized that I need to be taking a stronger interest in college. I want to select an art school that is right for me but I don't have a starting point. I've been looking into illustration, industrial design, and game art possibly.

I've mainly researched The Art Center College of Design in California but I've heard that you can get the same education at a lower priced school if you're willing to put in the effort. I've also heard some good things about Ringling in Florida (which is the state I'm currently living in) but really I'm open to anything. I just want some suggestions for good colleges you think I might want to take a look at.

Thanks--

I've been hearing good things about CSU fullerton's illustration dept, it's much less expensive than Art Center and the teachers seem pretty good...i'm trying to decide between there and art center at the moment

Whatever you decide, good luck!

What about the Art Institute Colleges? They're cheap but cheap isn't always bad. Lemme know.

One recommendation I'll always toss out to people is to scout out some of these fine institutions here...

It's a good place to start.
