Hey CA folks, I need some advice for people whom are familiar with Parsons College of design in New York City.

I am a high school senior living in long island, which is a 40 minute commuter train away from the city. Recently, I visited Parsons and absolutely fell in love with the school. I was wondering if anyone on CA attends or has attended this school and would like to give me some input.

I am a graphic designer and web designer with a fundamental knowledge of painting, drawing and sculpting (and an advanced knowledge of Photoshop, illustrator, & flash applications). I inspire to graduate and get a job as a communications designer. I really need a school that provides a broad pallet of artistic opportunities, so any input on Parson would help me SOOOO much!

Thanks.

no first hand experience, but my ex gf goes there for com design.. she absolutely hated her foundation year, but now that she is in her second year is really liking her classes.

she always said she seems to think that they cater more towards their fashion program, but that was usually her only complaint other than having to live and go to class with fashion students her first year lol.

know thats not a lot of info, so i hope others can chime in for ya and gl!

(im also gonna be applying there, along with pratt and sva)
