Hi all
I am new to these forums and concept art in general. I have browsed these forums for a while now and have always been stunned by the quality of work shown here. I am attempting to develop some rudimentry skills in drawing and using marker pens. I am a 3d artist and am hoping to develop 2d skills for developing concept art for my 3d models.

Below are my lunchtime efforts whilst visiting the Royal museum of Edinburgh which is just round the corner from my work.

I would really appreciate crit on these drawings as they are the first attepmt to use marker pens, and I am eager to improve.

they work its just a little trickier, right click the link, go to properties, copy and paste the different url into the address bar. Just learned that.

The way to post your images is this:

When you start your thread (or when you reply, for that matter), above the message box that you're typing your little blurb in, you'll see amidst the many buttons (size, font, color, etc..) one that says "IMG". Hit that button and insert your image address!

OR, you can type blah, blah, blah , and you should achieve the same result.

OH, and you should make the images smaller so that they don't kept low-bandwidth people waiting forever. Always keep the image 72dpi and small enough to fit on the screen without scrolling or re-sizing windows.

As for critique, well... these are decent drawings for your sketchbook, and as a memory/learning tool for you as an artist, but I don't know if they make sense in this environment. They aren't concept drawings and they're really not "finished" pieces.
They show that you have talent and aren't afraid of a good strong line.

Beyond that I'm not sure what you're hoping to cull from our comments.

I would suggest that you keep drawing and work toward something a bit fuller.
