The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 7th of October.

The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, cavorting transgender elves....and can be in any media, digi or traditional is fine.

In addition to this, participants can choose to do a study or studies of the human shoulder and arm, in any media. Black and White or Colour is fine.

Come on soldiers! Flex those muscles!!

PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

MeTaL-Mike; Hands.. bold move, soldier. Some are better than others, obviously, but I think you're on the right track. How do you do these? Just drawing ahead or do you start off with an outline with boxes and cilinders and such? (I find that useful in anatomy, although I use it too little). Some of the wrists seem a little thin, or something is missing. Not quite sure yet, I'll see if I can find some ref ;|
Also, nice in-depth arm study.

Last weeks' attendance was promising, lets hope we'll get as many participants this time :)

Had my gestures done last week as well, so decided to take my time on the arms. Had no ref so took a little longer anyways.

Anthis - well i usually draw the outline for the arms first and kind of go from there. if i only want the hand i usually start with a circle and work my way from there. or just draw the "Big" shape and work my way through that. I also don't use the primitives as much as i should. i found the ref on the net. trust me man Google is your best friend :D just look for "People" or "Hands" you will get tons of useful results. unfortunately not always exactly what you would wish for much then you can also make some photo's of your own arms in positions you want. I'm planning to do that too.

I have to say i really like your gestures man. you do them without ref right? awesome man. nice arm studies as well.
