Now, I've written here quite a few times, but recently many people advised me to search for an MFA programme instead of BFA.
Thing is, I've got a engineer's diploma (that 5 years of study in Moscow Oil and Gas University, something between a bachelor's and a master's), obviously it has very few to do with art. I've been doing comics and illustration for about 3 years and I've had no traditional art education, that's a crying shame.
Still, I've heard rumours on the internets, that some art schools do accept students for an MFA with any kind of bachelor's degree. Academy of arts univeristy in SF probably accepts anyone who pays them, so I'm considering their fine establishment in the first place. I've also contacted artcentre, the nice lady wrote me that I could attend a 2nd or 3rd year of their BFA with that, but then it turned out that without art education history it won't do probably. So, what I mean is that a shortened BFA is just as fine for me. My main concern is to get a degree in less than 4 years, I don't think I can afford to study for four long years, I'm 22 already.
So, basically that's it. Any advice or info would be great.
Here are some of my newer and older works:
