have any of you have trouble expressing yourself in your art, or have trouble drawling what you want to draw in fear of being "made fun of" or people not getting what you drew? sometimes when im drawing i have the trendency to draw what in "accepted" art instead of doing what i want. for some reason when people see some of my drawlings in my art book they ask why i drew that or "what the hell is that? and i honestly dont have an answere for them.

i was just wonmdering if anyone else had problems simular to this

When I was like 10 my mother would get mad at me for drawing wars and people getting raped. (no I wasn't drawing rape for pleasure)

Fact is you don't have to explain anything to other people. Be an artist for your self or don't be an artist at all. It's not worth it.

and we all must sit on them.

I've goty a few drawings that I've shown only to few people. They were pretty tripped out. I don't think I was so worried about people what people thought of me as much as just letting out stuff that I felt was personal and private to me; becaus eI'm somewhat of an introvert. Plus they are older drawings now and I think I could execute them better today.

Overall, If your not comfortable showing them don't show them. But by all means draw them for your own pleasure. That's what is important, right?
