Call to Painters:
Omega 1: a monthly fully-painted superhero team comic book produced and published by Big City Comics (http://www.bigcitycs.com).
Supported by heavy industry specific Advertising Campaign… giving a lot of exposure.
Pay is $200 per page @ 22 pages per issue, plus cover… (if there is an original) the cover will be retained by Big City Comics for an additional $100.
You will be able to invoice every 10 pages, payable by check or Paypal at your discretion.
There is a 4 issue commitment required.
We are seeking 2 (or more) painters (traditional or otherwise) for our monthly painted comic “Omega 1”. Deadlines will be approximately 10 weeks per book, which works out to roughly a page every 3 days. The Storylines will run in 4 issue arcs, each arc completed by a different painter.
The ideal candidates for these positions will be storytelling painters with a realistic leaning who can keep up high-quality production on a timely basis -- who are looking for a high-exposure entry into the comic book industry.
For people who are not familiar with American Comics fully painted means you draw and paint the artwork from start to finish.
There is some flexibility in style and technique… quality (not taste) will be the determining factor.
