We are a producer/director team with some professional TV and independent production experience.
What we are looking for is a CONCEPT ARTIST, ideally with some VISUAL EFFECT EXPERIENCE, to start collaborating with us ASAP on the development of a SHORT SCI-FI futuristic script.
The ideas we are developing in this script would appeal to someone with an interest for the future developments of the NET, SYMBOLISM and the PARANORMAL.
We are planning to submit the short script to all available short film funding schemes starting from mid November.
We would love to find someone who will also be able to help during the post production process in order to realize the animation and Visual Effects necessary to bring on the screen the concepts developed together.
What we are offering is a large degree of freedom and expressive leeway and the POSSIBILITY TO FOLLOW THE PROCESS FROM CONCEPT TO DELIVERY.
At the moment we are looking for an unpaid COLLABORATION as there is no budget attached to the project, yet. As this becomes available, we might be able to commission some paid work. Therefore, all we can promise now is only our full commitment in trying to get to that stage.
REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Good graphic and cinematic sense
- Good skills in imagining and illustrating new appealing environments and props
- A verified ability to draw both with traditional and computer-based tools
- Sound understanding of the limits and possibilities of visual effects
Optional, but PREFERRED:
- Some 3d knowledge with software of the level of Maya, 3dmax or similar
- Some digital compositing knowledge with software such as Combustion, After Effect or Shake
