Hi guys. I've been searching for a way to do similar effects like the magic circles on the example below (particularly the ones around the weapon) and the music notes on the other. I'm not much of a graphic designer so I don't know about such tools or tricks that will do that sort of thing.
I do know how it can be done in 3D and can be rather simple, but I'm wondering if a 2D program can do that to avoid using a 3D app just for that effect. and yea, no idea if that effect has a name in particular.
