Hey!

Due to the unfortunate event of getting double salaries this month (changed companies) I am thinking about getting a tablet. However, I want to make sure Im not doing anything rash....
1. Should I get a tablet even though I am just a below average artist? My main idea is to use it for coloring and detailing scanned drawings, not using it to replace traditional media (well, I guess I wouldnt be very much into traditional colors...)
2. Im looking at the Intuos A5 Wide. I hear the A6 is too small, and the A4 is just a tad too big. Any ideas?

Hey Martin,

I have the Intuos3 A5 one and it's really nice. If you have money enough and you don't need to take the tablet with you a lot though, I would take the A4 one, I don't think it's too big at all.
But the A5 wide one will definitely be good enough.

If you don't want to do detailed stuff, you might want to think about getting a cheaper wacom to save money. I mean, great things can be done with a graphire or volito..

Well.. Good luck finding one to suit your needs :)
and congratulations on the double salary.. Must be nice ^^

Love

I like your first question, should you even get a tablet? A tablet is a lot of fun and if you've got the cash, go for it. But in my experience, it really slowed down my acceptance and my ability to paint properly. So, be sure to paint and draw traditionally as much as you can too! :)

Good luck!
