I'm just getting started with concept art and I was wondering if there are programs out there to get a degree while studying at home and one that's affordable. Next year I want to enter a different faculty because that's what I love but I'd like to do this on the side as well. Any recommendations?

do you really need to pay for the course?...Its comendable that you want to undertake one, and I'm sure theyre out there, but if it's an one the side thing it may be worth doing stuff that isn't going to cost you money. There are so many tutorials/step by steps, here and elswhere you could learn from. I work/learn from home, and understand that it can be hard to keep yourself on a directed path of learning but if you have the motivation theres so much you can learn without paying someone to set you homework every week...even just doing the CHOW/IDW/COW and EOW's would be exellent practice, as well as some anatomy studies (Just working through the loomis books that you can D/L for example). Good luck with it:)

Hehe if it were free I'd go for that. :D
I just thought that a real university course or so is clearer than doing it using tutorials. I already bought a few books about drawing in general and hopefully I can get the same effects using my tab. Maybe instead of a paid course a book list used for those courses would qualify but I have no idea where to look for those..
