Thats tight B!

What were you looking at for comparison?

-I really like his right arm.. the colors in it..looks awesome.. The blue light looks like it is pointing a little to the left, maybe a little out of perspective.. but still cool..

I really like the rendering on the non-mechanical arm, nice colors, I like the little touches of blue and greens. It seems to be like it should be higher though. Just my 2 cents.

Something is wrong with the right side of the monsters head. His right. I think the bicep and shoulder are too small. The feel of great size supporting the head on the left is not matched on the right side. Ya, I think that is it. The flesh arm looks undersized.

Excellent painting style.

edit: ya it is the upper arm. The bit where you can look through and see a strand of flesh in the armpit? that area needs the upper torso to match the other side.

Unless he is a crippled monster.

The head is amazing! The rest looks unconfident (unlike most of your amazing work).

thanx for the comments, I'll rework a bit on his right arm though
-Deth it took me a while to understand what you said with the blue light and you are right dude thanx!
-howdy great remark I won't say he is crippled to cheat
:D
-Lc3, I don't like working so much on a painting I do prefer speedies so the rest of the body is made fast and gives this unconfident feeling.

Wow. Your coloring and design are both stunning!

I have one comment though. It may just be me, but it almost feels as if you sortof thumb-tacked this guy into the picture. I cant really describe it, but it seems like he isnt "integrated."

It lacks presence, or action, or feel, or something. You definitely have the mood down though. Very badass all-over. Your work is awesome!

I dont see the fitting in the doom3 style. I think it will be hard to get Kenneth Scott's style of his monsters

Looks more like something for QuakeIV

Awesome rendering! Loe the mandibles and machinery. Checked out your site-great work.

The creature has a modestly sized torso. If I were getting paid 10 grand to do this I would bulk him up to make him more menacing. Just my two cents, it's a good portfolio piece.
