I was at the art supply store the other day and decided to try out some Prismacolor markers I see people using on here all the time. I only have three colors (they're expensive!) so everything that's not cool grey, warm grey, or peach was done with Sharpies. The last time I posted someone told me my lines were too thin, so I tried different line weights too. If you have a second, leave me a few pointers, thanks!:D

This one I made the error of trying to draw the right hand claws with pen before plotting them out with pencil. BIG mistake! I decided it was a lost cause so I never inked the legs or colored it but I'll post it anyway.

Best thing you could do if you want to use markers is throughly explore Feng Zu's website, if you haven't already - his work is AMAZING and his tutorials are great, he explains everything really well. http://www.artbyfeng.com/

Looks like you're having fun practising :) I especially like the guy with the gun, the fourth down.
I'm by no means an expert, but while having a thick line weight around your drawing is a nice style heaps of folks use to their advantage, using different line weights within the drawing is important as well, - to help explain to the eye which parts are important or should stand out.

Thank you very much bee, your comments were insightful. I will try to vary my line weight more through out the entire drawing next time. I also checked out the site you recommended. I now have it bookmarked so I can study it thoroughly. Thanks again, that's exactly the kind of feedback I look for on these boards.
