update 4th Oct: new image !!

Hey friends,
'been forever since I posted stuff on this board so I’m not sure of what was posted or not before :bashful: I think it’s all new though.

I have a couple of WotC images that were recently revealed on the Magic website. First is a piece that serves as a fatpack "mural" in the Future Sight universe. Secondly are two illos for Dreamblade I did like one year ago now.

I had a weird concept for this one...

talking about Magic, I had the opportunity to do some signings at an event in Birmingham alongside with RK Post and and our international Dave “Rusty Baby” Kendall. Here are a few doodles I did there and at another french festival:

I've finally finished my Hyperion covers series for the french market. Here are the last pieces + a handful of covers for other books:

some more RPG stuffs:

and for Wizkids HorrorClix, also from one year ago:

and finally here’s a trio I did for the car company SEAT. They used the art as print commercials and on their stand at the races. I’ve never been that art directed, each image took one month to process as I had the AD on the phone almost every day and he had changes all the time. it was an interesting experience on how it works in the advertisment industry in the end:

that's it for now. Behave kids ;)

Hell JS. Stop kicking your Grandpa's ass. Not nice for such an old man. An awesome thread my friend. Truly inspirational. Nice to see the SEAT pictures too. True quality work. I remember you telling me about the shark plane. I couldn't see it at the time but I really like how you pulled it off.

Am hoping to get over to Paris soon. I will come and stalk you.

The first one has an outstanding composition. To me this piece is clever in all of it's aspects. The lighting on the cat is what grabbed me at first but then I started noticing how much you were manipulating the image area with design. All I have to do now is pick my jaw up from the floor. Thanks for the inspiration man.

As awesome as ever! Lovely stuff. The shark/plane stands out for me as something just a little bit different. I like the more solid blue of the sky working with all that great texture your "paint" handling brings.

I'd love to know your approach on a cover job. how much time do you usually spend on these? strong action, and I love the feeling of detail all over.
