Hey cool stuff. I especially like the forest environment, but would like it alot better in color. You did a great marker job on it , it'll help it out alot if you choose to do it digitally.

Thx. I think i'll stick to markers.
Here's a lil wacom thingy though. Outlines took me 15 mins i think (ballpoint). Coloring maybe 20 to 30. I really like to doodle and rush my art sometimes, 'adds a certain sence of freedom whilest drawing.

Hm. On that first scenic picture, the way the path connects with the door is very crooked. Unless you were going for some kind of distortion, that isnt working for you. Also, try to work more with light sources of a more lively color. Right now it is pretty dull. However, I would like to say on that forest town picture, your designs are very nice. =D
Second, those faces you did are awesome. I especially like the hat design for the one guy. On the final picture, the way the sword is slung across his shoulders looks awkward. I dont think he would be able to actually draw it unless it was lower down. Also, the shoulders could be a bit more bulky. Again, the clothing and sword design seriously rock!
Keep up the good work. I hope this helped you out some.

It sure helps Hales! for i agree with every crit you gave.
Thanks for the feedback!
I've added some quick ballpoint armor studies for the warrior.
I'm not really fond of these, oh well...

Just a short comment to Halis
On the final picture, the way the sword is slung across his shoulders looks awkward. I dont think he would be able to actually draw it unless it was lower down.
To be exact there´s NO way wearing a sword on your back and being able to draw it sensibly. This is one of the great things movies and Fantasy-artists seem to have completely digested ... There are reasons that in history swords haven´t been worn on the back (except of carrying it like a burden). Sorry if I ranter too much, I´m swordfighting myself and am quite interested in historical weapons and armour ... just getting off some steam ;).

Go away, there´s nothing to see here ... just some PITA in action ....
