I'm looking for someone to collaborate on a comic book submission for various print and web publishers. In addition to producing several finished pages, the collaborating artist would need to do a good bit of design work, which is why I thought I'd try looking for combo comic and concept artists at this website. I'm no peciller, but I can handle lettering and certain "finishing" tasks depending on the collaborating artist's process and/or time availability. All money made would be split equitably among the collaborators.
The comic is a sci/fi political thriller that would ideally have a design extrapolated from the pulp space travel stories of the first half of the twentieth century (bubble helmets, ray guns, rockets with fins); the story takes place in a modern day in which those technologies existed in the 1950s and should subsequently be 50+ years older, dirtier and more advanced.
