Shankara`s Sketchbook 2007 (re-learning)

Hello... This is my second post (the first is post is bad),
My name is Torcato Reis, 39 years of age and live in the Portugal.

I've been browsing the conceptart forum since a long time ago and is amazing. I I don't draw since my 18 years old I want re-learning with you.
(I don't learn draw in school, I have some talent)
I don't know draw with tools of photoshop, but I would be like very much. Please help me to be better with your suggestions. I will be appreciate.

Well, it's hard to say much about 2 pieces, but what the hey. It's not a bad start to a sb, but post more! Alien is interesting, never seen one with eyelashes before, heh. As for the figures, they're not too bad, but like I said we need more of a selection to be able to give good crits so we can see if it's really your style or just a particular piece that needs help. I like the coloring and shadows on the floor---a lot of people neglect to connect the characters to the ground...

I like draw girls. I think that a girls body is a most beautiful subject for draw. Of course that I will post more subjects later, but now, just studies of body girls and some anatomy and Aliens. Sorry my english.

Nice work so far but i would suggest dropping the color and working on your figures for now. Really focus on the form and flow of the lines more than the outside shapes. And Keep posting!

Thanks man for your comment. I training the colours because are my first steps in this area. But I think that your suggest is good and I will follow in the future. I gone practice the shadows too (I need that) and will be posting and waiting for yours suggestions and critiques. (sorry my English).

I think you are focussing to much on the outline. Try to draw the body starting with simple shapes, think about what moves under the skin, and how that causes the skin to wrinkle. When building a figure always start as simple as possible
