hello,

i have been frequenting CA for a while, and finally have joined it. my name is konstantin, i am new to art, although i have been drawing for a few years now, mostly human figure. i am a software engineer by education, i spent about a decade without parole in the software industry, and by the time i hit forty i realised that something is missing, and i need to do something about it. so here is my most recent drawing. it is called "Masha and The Bear". i welcome any advice. more stuff is coming. :)

hello,

since i am basically no good at painting, and i do not know color at all, and i have not learned yet how to hold a brush correctly, this is my first small oil sketch in the series of exercises that i have just started. it is supposed to be a ceramic bowl on a table cloth.

akonsu- Hey Konstantin! Great to see you on here bro! That last one's looking good! I wouldn't really try to paint brass, just try to be as honest as you can be with the light and the color, and it'll happen by itself. Each time will be different. Keep it up, I'll check in on you. -A
