Painter X..better than Painter 8?

I currently have Painter 8. I like this program a lot, but it acts wonky sometimes. I am wondering if the new version, Painter X, is any better, and if it is worth spending the money to upgrade? What makes it better or different from Painter 8? Thanks.

But seriously, the brush engine is much faster, you get two great new brush types (artist oils from 9 and real bristles in X), the mixer pallet, it will make you taller, and your father will consider you in his will.
