I had come here to post an 'ad' saying that the Legend of the Serilim MOD team was hoping to find some art talent, but I was so blown away by the level of skill on this site that I feel cruddy posting the prepared statement.

The members of this board are so far beyond anything else that I have seen out there that the least of you would be the biggest help to our team. I guess Ill post the prepared statement just for informational sake.

Legends of the Serilim Game Art

Legend of the Serilim Development team is searching for a Game Art lead. LotS is a Total Conversion for the game Unreal Tournament 2003. We are developing a TC (total conversion) that intertwines the gameplay of The Wheel of Time with an original story, and an impressive new engine. The development of the TC is well underway, and well into the stages of being playable. However, we need your help. While our current team members include game industry professionals as well as aspiring amateur coders, level designers, audio artists, and musicians, we are still searching for a lead artist to produce stunning visuals that will catch the eye of the public. Our team needs:

Concept Artists (to work very closely with...)
3D modelers (to render artifact pickups, player models, and static meshes)
Icon Artists (to create on-screen icons for artifacts as they are displayed in the HUD)
Texture Artists (to create textures for maps, models and player skins)

Everyone on the team so far is working for free, but I can assure you that if you are looking for work in the video game industry, this is an excellent way to get your foot in the door. I have spoken personally to game Gurus such as Glen Dahlgren and Legend of the Serilim is turning heads 'in the industry'.

Please feel free to send me an e-mail, or post on our message board if you are interested.

If anyone feels that they can contribute a few hours here and there, even if just to have someone else give you something specific to get down on paper, we would be extremely grateful.

i'll gladly help if no one else steps up; but you probably are better off waiting for other more skilled people from here, there are some amazing artists in here.

I thought I would post some screens of one of our 'prereleased' (for UT2k3) levels.

We would love for a concept artist to sketch up some architecture, weapons pickups, charactes, etc.
