I am doing my thesis on entertainment design because we don't have a program for it at my school. I was just wondering what is the best type of presentation for these sorts of projects. I don't just want to pin up stuff on the wall because this is a semester long project.

I will have several full scale props, rendered character concepts, rendered environments and vehicles, and story boarded scenes. Can you guys post examples of what some good presentations looked like?

Any helpful tips would also be greatly appreciated. Also I am not sure if this is the right forum for this type of post

I mounted a lot of things on black poster board/mat board when I was in school.

I was hoping to do something a bit more creative then just mounting images on chipboard. Does anyone have any examples?

anything where you turn the lights off, makes'em go "oooooh",

a slide show perhaps? powerpoint....what have you.
easier than chip board to assemble.

i'd imagine that fancyness would help with a pitch of that type.
good luck!

People Like to see process. from a series of thumbnails to a few roughs, to a rendered final. As for 'how to set it up' black matte boards make for a clean presentation. Its what just about everyone does.
