Hi all.... ive been a member for a while now... im all into art and love the work you guys (and guyettes) are putting up here, im also sort of a tattoo-fan. and now... i humbly ask of you, a sketch-up, of my new (and last, i promise;) ) tattoo... so heres goes for nothing...
I want to tattoo some angels (3 is nuff) holding or dragging a common guy out or up from a bunch of demons... i thought of the angels to be faceless at start... but i can fix and trix the scetch-finnish afterwords.... the tatto is going to be rather big. (A4 - Format). so not too tiny plz.
as a gift or REWARD, i post my new (last) tatto here.... (its all ive got)
pls, that would help a sore soul out of a lot of hard work.
if i manage it i can post a sketch of how i mean...
EDIT:
VERY sketchy idea of the tattoo,.....

I think you should have it exactly like that. Call it postmodern ironic. Plus it vaguely recalls the illustrations in the Good News Bible.

And yet you don't know how these (repeated) requests are usually received?
:nohope:
If you want to continue working on this yourself, I'll leave it here. Otherwise it's going in the non-paying jobs section, with all the others.

Unpaid work would be fine, were it not for two things... the work and the lack of pay.

Well, i wasnt asking for a brainmelting, jawdropping seelingart ala da vinci... i was hoping someone could do a fast sketch-up for an idea to a tattoo im about to get. i, my selfe suck at do clean skteches, so i was hoping for some kind souls in here.
So all you who would skinn your mother for a "sneeze in a napkin" dont need to bother... simple as that.

If this is how you go about getting a tattoo...
Then you probably shouldn't be getting a tattoo.

Hey isn't it the tattoo artists job to come up with the design? Bring in that thumbnail and do EXACTLY what you are doing now.

I have a lot of tattoos and I've never had an artist tell me they wouldn't do it because they had too much to do. If that's the case, find yourself another artist.
It should work like this -
You bring in your rough idea / sketch / reference material and make a deposit (the deposit secures your seat / time / whatever) and the artist works on your sketch, which usually takes 1-2 days depending upon how much work they have lined up.
There are so many factors that go into getting a tattoo, and a lot of those can't be addressed by faceless masses over the internet.
Take placement, for example. Depending upon where you want to put it determines scale, proportion, and the overall composition of the piece which no one here knows since you don't seem to've posted it, and can't judge because we don't know YOU.
A tattoo is permanent. Yeah, you probably know this.
Ask yourself, if you're not willing to put that kind of work into it, just to get it done and done right, should you really be getting it?
God speed man.
