Shameless cover roughs for an issue of our book. About 3.5 hours work. Its on cheap sketch paper. I'll be going over it with a ball-point and lightboxing it onto the bristol. It makes for damn clean work, the inkers love it. I also darkened it up a bit in PS so it'd all show.

Coments, crits, bashings...all welcome!

BTW: We could use a talented colorist if anyone is down (no pay of course)

i don't think there can ever be enough booty in art. I love it, great style. The perspective is very inviting. Good ol' beach justice. You said you planned on "lightboxing it onto the bristol", how do you accomplish that, the board is so thick.
Maybe a stupid neeewwwbeeeee question, but maybe someone could explain the details?
Do i see a little J Scott Campbell in those figures????

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah...J. Scott Campbell is a big influence.

Strife25---I can send you the lineart when its done being inked. I'd like to see what you can do. And if you have any finished color work, could you possibly show me a couple (sequentials preferred).

As for the lightboxing...thats why I go over the roughs in ballpoint pen, it shows up perfectly through the bristol.
