Spartan Training Camp #11 - 50 Gestures + Optional Foot Study

The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 9th of September.

The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, zombies, nerds larping....and can be in any media, digi or traditional is fine.

In addition to this, participants can choose to do a study of a human foot in any media. Black and White or Colour is fine.

Come on soldiers! Flex those muscles!!

PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

Ha, for the longest time until I actually checked out one of these threads, I thought it was an environmental design for a Mjolinr Spartan training camp. Man was I wrong hehehe. I'll try to whip up 50 though I don't know if time will allow it...

Jens; Pussy huh? Good to have you aboard. Nice studies, most are pretty accurate despite the sketchiness, how long do they take you on average? Arm lengths on 25, 15, 43 seem off. And 25-50 seem very rushed with the exception of 48.
MeTaL-Mike; Those are some neat heads. Used ref, or are these from imagination? Lots of character in them. Only thing bothering me are the lips/mouths here and there. Think they're the weak point among those features.

Annnd mine. Feet are from book ref, and my own foot.

Anthis - thanks. i used reference for the most of them. yeah i know, lips are still one of my problems, specially when they are open or smiling. just can't get that stuff right.
your are cool too. do you do them all from imagination? i'll try to do more from head next time around. gotto start once.

Oh dear. It's gone from a whole list of participants down to only three.
Good job to Metal-Mike and Anthis for sticking to it, hopefully Jens will keep going, and I most definitely should get back into this.

Anthis: Regarding the foot in top view. The shapes of the toes are a bit weird, careful with those.

Metal-Mike; Yea, had that feeling. I'll be trying faces soon, think nose and eyes will be my main problem. I do most of these poses from head, but I check on some ref or simply myself because I happen to get stuck at times. I simply don't "know" the human body well enough (yet).
HunterKiller_; Aye, rushed those a bit. Came out more deformed than expected. You better be around next week though :)

Don't think its closed or anything, Cwnn Annwn is prolly on vacation or forgot to post a new topic.
I'd keep going even if I were alone, its good practice anyways. Will be having a hard time finishing 40 gestures tomorrow though.... 'O__o
