You've got a really nice quality to your work with lots of nice little touches, but I find the overall pose for the guy to be really stiff and awkward, and he loses a little bit of his character because of it, but the girl has plenty going on. Really good piece though
Chuck,mate
Outrageous and funny! Your textures blow me away...not much to crit on at all.
Paweu
I like the dynamic shot. You did a nice job of making the scales look like scales too, and the style is cool, like it was made in Flash. Maybe the croc's perspective could be a little more extreme for his lower half, but other than that good work!
Ostrander
I really like the painting's quality, but the croc itself is an odd one to look at. Maybe it's his long neck throwing it off? Very interesting nonetheless:)
gnahz
This looks like a sketch that could have been taken a lot further with some more work done to it. I would like to see what it looks like with less sketchy lines and more croc-y details
Arrhenius
Awesome looking fellow, like he'll bite your head off if you get any closer! For me, his scales are too subtle for someone so mean'n'beefy. Still very cool though
deepakcgartist
For whatever reason, this guy makes me smile. He's got tons of personality! Rather than working hard on the complicated cales and stuff, try focusing more on developing the overall form.
Mattaus
He's got a nice simple design, and adding some more colour variation and highlights would really make him pop!
JoeIACT
Heheh, he looks like he's swallowed a bowling ball...strange design but has lots of character. The varying line thicknesses are a good idea, but placing thick vs. thin lines can be tricky. Keep it up!
Hopsy
I really like the storybook feel to this one. The scene is an interesting one, but the light source for his mouth is different than the rest of his body. I would have liked to see the croc's pupil in his eye too, to see what he's thinking.
daveneale
Mega-stylized, really strange but still totally a crocodile. Great and interesting textures on him too. Somebody give this skinny little bugger a meal!
Juan Caruso
This is outstanding! Lovely character, pose, style..everything! My only crit is maybe do the BG with a little different colour to make him stand out that much more, but really, this is fantastic!

And my vote:
1st Juan Caruso - great presentation, love the colors and dynamism. And the red tie is a wonderful touch.

My vote:
1st - Daveneale. Very funny stylization. It makes me laugh without any humorous situation, its shape is enough.
2nd - Chuck, mate. I think crocodiles have no tongue, but the expression and all the work is fantastic! Congratulations.
3rd - Juan Caruso. Very dinamic pose and fantastic painting.
Honorable mention to ScaryPotato. Nice shape and colors.

1. Juan Caruso: Makes you believe a croc can fly.
2. Ostrander: Funny and looney. It's the eye that does the trick for me.
3. Arrhenius: A truly menacing croc. Reminds me of the Pliosaur of Ice Age 2.
