Hey guys. Here are a couple studies of busts I did this past month at the Cleveland Museum of Art, and underneath are two portriats of friends I sculpted last semester at school. I'd love any crits.

hmmm...

first of all, really nice work.

what to crit? tough call. in the drawings, you could possibly simplify the values... there seems to be a lot of midtone.

don't neglect the ears?

your work shows a lot of skill/knowledge. i'd be curious to know what the pros have to say.

Thanks Bone. You have some good suggestions I'll be keeping in mind. It's good to see you over here from Art's board now that it's closed.

the drawings lack contrast, you need some real darks here and there but thats not so important.
I really like the first one, it feels great as it is so don't change a thing ! :)
