In Europe, because of trademark issues, they're sold under the name KarismaColor. Same pens and pencils, different name.

The karisma pencils don't exist anymore, they stopped production of that line.

You don't have to fear eBay that much for what you look for.
Most of the scammers are into trendy electronics and godly burnt toasts.
I don't think scammers would take advantage over wooden pencils :D
As long you pay with Paypal and get a 100% feedback users you should be fine :)

If you are in spain, then you could order from a UK website. Paper People still have Berol Karisma's listed, but when I ordered Karisma colors from them, I got an email saying it would have to be prismacolors.

Hey Camara, I would agree that using ebay shouldn't be a problem but don't forget there are a lot of online art store catalogs which carry lots of art supplies and will ship usually for free while giving you discounts because you are buying direct. Now obviously you may get a price increase in shipping because you're in Spain, but I would expect that from people on ebay as well. I think the catalogs are a great way to go especially if you want more than just the markers.
To answer your other question, Copic markers are generally considered very good, and I've heard of Tria too...in general, if they are specifically branded as a higher quality berol art marker, you will get what you want. I'm not sure what the draw to prismacolor is personally, cause I've used multiple kinds and its really about preference...I think the only major advantage to prismacolor is the value for the quality, at least where I am, the prismacolor markers are usually the cheaper of the art markers. But again, thats my personal experience...

I love my tria marker sets and they are so much more easier to get a hold of in europe. They are made by letra set and the marker wizard feng zhu (star wars fame) uses them. They have 3 sized nibs in stead of the usualy 2 and the ink is high quality.
Letraset make them. So 'Pantone tria markers letraset' , google it and find the best deal.

They are easier to get around the world, however the drawback is they are expensive and they work best on Letra Set paper that are especially made for that purpose.

Woops, sorry I didnt read you were looking for Prismacolor markers.... the other guys are right when they say Tria Markers... they have three nibs. Plus when they run out you wont have to buy in additional ink from the US.

you're looking for prismacolor pencils (i guess wax based pencils) or prismacolor markers?
i don't get those brands here, but i've ot "creta color" instead (pencils) and "promarkers" wich basically are markers with 2 nibs.
Just ask the counter, the guy should help you anyway if you tell him what you're looking for (obviously a decent art shop, don't think you'll find them anywhere else)

Before you invest heavily in them I would recommend trying a couple of brands (most places sell single pencils). I personally find prismas to be really waxy and the wood gets hung on pencil sharpeners, which brutalizes them.

Extremely good prices and discounts plus everything you could want as an artist. I'm pretty sure they ship to Spain.
